At ANR we have three CNC turning centres and two manual turning centres for carrying out a broad range of turning lathe operations.
Our CNC (computer numerical control) machines provide the CNC operator with the flexibility to deal with a wide range of raw materials and profiling requirements. ANR’s CNC operators have exceptional programming expertise for precision engineering projects and in the production of accurately machined components for use across a range of industry sectors.
Two of the CNC turning centres are 5 Axis Mazak machines which also have milling capabilities. We also have a Hitachi-Seiki turning centre supported by two Colchester manual turning centres.
With this range of turning lathe and milling equipment we can produce anything from prototypes to bar-fed medium to high volume work.
Our standard turning manufacturing envelope is 610mm diameter, although like our milling capabilities, projects have been undertaken with differing sizes.
Both Mazaks have sub-spindles which allow us to produce fully finished turned parts without multi-handling the product. The key benefit is that this increases our CNC turning lathe throughput and reduces costs for our customers.
